High quality and attractively bound volumes of newspapers help to permanently preserve the integrity of publications in an easy-to-use format, whilst assisting in the protection of vulnerable newsprint from the excessive damage that can be caused by regular referencing and handling. Bindings are sewn and bound using waterproof library buckram or leather and are suitable for both broadsheet and tabloid formats. As an alternative to full binding we also provide storage boxes and folders large enough to accommodate any sized newspaper.

A full microfilming, scanning and digitisation service is also available for newspapers, and digitised files can be presented as bound volumes in paperback or hardback, or in electronic formats.

Older, degraded copies of newsprint and bound volumes of papers can be conserved. Estimates can be supplied following close examination by our conservation staff.
